We had a great time in P2 celebrating World Book Day. We spent most of the day thinking about Peter Rabbit. We read 'The Tale of Peter Rabbit' by Beatrix Potter. We thought of lots of interesting words to desrcibe Peter and completed a character profile of him. Then we put pictures of the story in the right order and made Peter's ears! After lunch we read the story of 'Denver'. We learned about how important it is to be content with what we have. We drew pictures of what we like to do that makes us happy. Everyone made such a fantastic effort to dress up as their favourite book character. Have a look at our pictures.
