Eco Committee mark 100 years of NI
15th Dec 2021
To mark Northern Irelands’s centenary, the UK Government developed a number of different initiatives within schools including the Trees for Schools programme. Trees for Schools offered every school in NI a native tree to plant in their school grounds. We were delighted to be given a Rowan tree, which our Eco Committee planted on Tuesday 14th December 2021. The children were ecstatic to be part of this historic event within school and for all of the benefits this tree will bring to our environment.
Don’t forget to take a look at our lovely tree along the path!
Well done everyone! 🌿
