At Carniny Primary School we recognise the importance of technology and using the internet to further pupil understanding and motivation for a subject, especially during this time of Home Learning. Although vitally important, the internet can be a dangerous and upsetting place if not used correctly and with supervision. Please spend some time over the next few weeks and speak to your child/children about their favourite websites, what they like to do online and staying safe on the internet. At Carniny Primary School we teach pupils to follow the SMART rules regarding online safety. Please explain the importance of the SMART rules to your child/children.
