P1 had a super morning with Hannah, one of our parents. Hannah is a paramedic and kindly came in to tell us what a papramedic does, what to do in an emergency and taught us the recovery position and some basic first aid.
We brought our teddies to school and were able to practice emergency procedures with them. Then we had a close look at some of the equipment a paramedic would use.
Many thanks to Hannah for kindly giving up her time to speak to us. We thoroughly enjoyed it!
