What a week in P7S! Not only did we have a Fairtrade visit from Co-op on Tuesday, but today we went on a Fairtrade trip to Sainsbury's.
As part of our Fairtrade topic in P7 we went exploring in our local Sainsbury's store today to see what Fairtrade items they stock. Nula, our guide, gave us a lovely tour of the store and was able to give us lots of information about how and why Sainsbury's support Fairtrade. She was even able to tell us about about a new initiative Sainsbury's have started called "Fairly Traded."
The trip ended with Nula giving us some Fairtrade chocolate treats to enjoy back in school! Thanks so much to Nula and Sainsbury's for time and effort today, we really appreciated it.
