P7F- NI100 Presentation
Primary 7 had a visit from the Mayor of Mid and East Antrim Borough Council, William McCaughey this morning who presented the school with the NI 100 Centenary Poem ‘Home’ which was partially written by pupils from Carniny PS.
All P7 pupils received a congratulatory certificate for taking part in the workshop with Angeline King and the children were witness to the NI100 time capsule being sealed. There were 9 items included in this piece of local history, with all of our P7 poems and a Carniny pencil to mark our contribution. The time capsule will be placed in Ballymena’s Town Hall Museum.
Truly a historical event for this year’s P7 class!
