On Tuesday 21st March, four Primary 7 children had the opportunity to attend a STEM Challenge at St. Colmcille's Primary School, as part of Science Week. They were split into mixed teams alongside Buick Memorial, Dunclug Primary, St Colmcille's Primary, St Brigid's Primary, Ballykeel Primary and Kirkinriola Primary School. The first challenge was to create a rocket ship, which had to have a functioning door for the astronaut to fit in. The second challenge was to create a space buggy for the astronaut, which had to travel at least 30cm!
