On Friday 12th May, Mrs Kane's P5 class from St.Colmcille's came to Carniny to work with our class on our World Around Us topic of 'Ancient Egypt'. We worked in groups of 5 to build a small raft which could float, whilst holding a block of wood and a brick. This was to help us understand how the ancient Egyptians used the River Nile to transport blocks through Egypt to build the famous pyramids! Please take a look through our photos to see our rafts.
