We had a great afternoon in P4 learning all about the Skeleton as part of our Mighty Me Topic. We learned that it helps us move, it gives the body structure and shape, it holds us upright and it protects our organs. We also got to take a look at some real x-rays and draw our own skeletons. Then we worked together to build structures to see how our skeletons provide support. The structures had to hold a tennis ball for 10 seconds.
