P2/3 Cold Lands

P2/3 have been learning about the Arctic and the Antarctic. We did an experiment to see how animals keep warm in these cold lands. The icy water was really cold (even with a woolly glove on!) but when we put our hands between fat they stayed warm! We found out that polar animals have lots of fat in their bodies which keeps them warm.
