We had a visitor in our classroom this afternoon…Daisy! 🐮 P1 have been thinking a lot about our new topic “Animal Adventures” and have been focusing on the farm. Today we thought about the journey of milk and how it comes from a cow, the cow goes to a parlour, the milk lorry picks it up from the farm and then it finally ends up in the shop for us to drink! We sequenced this journey using pictures! Then we thought about how cows used to be milked by farmers when there was no fancy machinery and we had a go ourselves! Lots of amazing language being used like “udders” and “squidgy” was being used.
Literacy, the World Around Us, Numeracy, History and so much fun all in one lesson! A very memorable afternoon! 🐄 👩🏽🌾 🥛
