This week we had so much fun creating lava lamps! We used oil, bicarbonate of soda, food colouring and water. We talked about how oil and water do not mix! The children loved looking at the movement of the oil and water along with the bright colours. Well done, Little Scientists! 👩🔬🧪🥼 ⭐️
Try adding vinegar to the mixture at home and watch what happens! You could also place a torch behind the jar.
