Friday 29th January marked Mr Somerville’s final day in Carniny Primary School. On Monday 1st February, Mr Somerville will take up his position as Principal in Magherafelt Primary School.
Mr Somerville commenced his role as Vice Principal and Primary 7 teacher in September 2017. He has been an inspiration to both the pupils and the staff during his time here at Carniny.
We are very grateful to the pupils in Primary 7 for their lovely ‘Farewell’ messages which were collated and presented to Mr Somerville along with a gift from the staff. FOCPS also presented Mr Somerville with a gift to acknowledge his contribution to their work over the past three and a half years.
We wish Mr Somerville every success in this new chapter of his life.
