We have been really busy in P1/2 in September. Here are some of the things we have been doing.
Numeracy
P1: We have been doing lots of work on patterns. We can create a 2 colour or 2 size pattern.
P2: We have worked a lot on our numbers to 10, forming numbers, making sets, counting and ordering numbers. We have started looking beyond 10.
Literacy
P1: We have been learning a lot of pre reading/writing skills. As well as this, we have been learning to recognise and write our names.
P2: We have been word building, doing activities to help us read and write and forming our letters correctly.
World around Us
We have been looking at fairytales and Nursery rhymes and doing lots of activities based on these.
